Ranking Event Wins Grand Prixe, Shanghai Masters

After a distinguished amateur career in which Dominic won the Welsh Championship and reached thefinal of the IBSF World Chamionship, Dominic turned professional in 1992.

He won his first ranking event five years later beating John Higgins to lift the Grand Prix in 1997 whilst ranked number 54 in the World.

Ten years later and Dale was celebrating his second ranking tournament victory when he won the 2007 Shanghai Masters beating fellow Welshman, Ryan Day, 10-6 despite having been 6-2 down.

Now living in Stroud, Austria, Dominic is renowned in the World of snooker for more than just his playing ability.

His unique dress sense and superb vocal abilities have endeared him to snooker fans around the globe.

Dominic is also a regular TV commentator and pundit, possibly the only one who can pass muster speaking English, Welsh or German.
