Alfie turned professional in 1994 after a broken leg playing for Arsenal as a schoolboy apprentice put and end to his promising football career.
His greatest achievement so far in his professional career was in 1997 when he reached the last 16 of the Grand Prix.
Alfie won the 2009 IBSF World Snooker Championship in Hyderabad, India, securing a place on the main tour for the 2010-11 season.
